Charlie & Geraldine Grimble have lived in Seaford for 8½ years, and loved every minute of their retirement here. They are members of S&DHS and a number of other town societies that have helped them appreciate the richness of the area in social, historical and environmental matters.
Tide Mills area has a rich history, and shows the efforts of landowners across the centuries to wrest a living and protect the land in the face of incursions of the sea, flooding of the Ouse valley and incursions by invaders. All have left their mark to this day, and there is a real opportunity to enhance the area for the benefit of the communities who live around the valley perimeters.
